Abandonment - bye!

A tribute to eggs and some random thoughts

I love eggs (I meant chicken eggs, what were u thinking?!). They are so versatile. You can have them fried, poached, scrambled, hard boiled, soft boiled, raw (I hate that btw) etc. You can eat them with anything. Instant noodles just don’t taste as good without an egg. Of course, too many will kill you. But you can’t live without them. Cheers to chicken eggs! (I am not discriminating against other eggs. Quail eggs and duck eggs are fab too).

It’s the end of week 6 (stop screaming Mich). Yesterday whilst at lecture, 4 people entered the lecture theatre at approximately 5 minute intervals from 11am onwards (my lecture started at 10:30am). The first 2 people wondered in, looked at us strangely and proceeded to walk out. The 3rd person came in and stared at the lecturer until she said, “Hulo. Are you here for legal issues in medicine?” And she sheepishly said, “No” and walked out. The 4th person came in, sat down, took notes for 5 whole minutes before realizing that he was in the wrong lecture and then proceeded to sheepishly make a quick exit amidst the sniggers from the crowd. It’s the end of week 6. How could you still NOT know where your lectures are? You should have already gone (hopefully) for 6 lectures at the same place and time every week. I just don’t get it.

Optus gave me a phone (Motorola razor) for being a loyal customer. It’s sleek and thin but no idea how to use it. Once you use a Nokia, you never go back. Besides, I love my current phone too much.

How often do we practise what we preach? We tell people what to do when something goes wrong. We give advice. We comfort others. Would we actually do what we tell people to do if the situation reversed? I think not.

I have great respect for housewives, cleaners, maids and anybody who cleans the house. I made up my mind to do spring cleaning during the Easter break. I decided yesterday that I couldn’t take my room being filthy anymore so I cleaned it. REALLY cleaned it. From top to bottom. Spent 2 whole hours cleaning. Vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, washing etc. First time I ever cleaned my room so thoroughly. I AM DAMN TIRED. I can’t even imagine doing this every day. It feels good though. Very therapeutic. I watched “How clean is your house?” (for those who don’t, it’s this reality show about 2 British women going to clean up the really dirty houses of some American families) and got REALLY disgusted at how people could stand living such FILTH. It was like living in a dumpster. No kidding. You won’t even believe how filthy those houses were. There were insects and rats and food all over and clothes on the floor which their pets had already peed on. *shivers* I never want to live like that.

It’s getting cold. Feels a little like winter. Snow fell in autumn! My bed is so comfy nowadays that I have such a hard time getting outta bed to go to uni in the mornings. Speaking of bed, I should go to sleep. Thank God it’s the weekend. Have a good weekend folks!

Blogging cuz Michy told me to

I'm currently in the lab waiting for Syl to end class so we can go get dinner. I love the uni computers. They are as fast as the speed of lightning (it's the internet I'm toking 'bout). No one seems to be blogging nowadays. Guess it's cuz exams are coming along. For the Singaporeans of course. The Aussies (I mean the people studying here) are mid-way into the semester (what, so fast?!) so tests are coming up and assignments are due soon *ack* starts pulling hair out.

Life's a mess at the moment.

1. My room is filthy. I have to clean it soon during the Easter break. And I mean CLEAN it out. As in, spotless. Dustless. Probably will be chucking lots of unnecessary clothes and books. I should have a yard sale.

2. It's already mid-sem and I still have no clue about what is going on in Property class. If I don't do something about it soon, I'm going to fail it miserably.

3. I'm sleep deprived. Why? I also don't know.

4. I've got assignments due soon which I haven't even started.

5. I've got tons of reading to do. I should just burn them and drink them.

6. Time is passing too quickly.

7. I pray that my caterer comes back soon so I won't have to eat my terrible cooking a moment longer.

I'm not complaining. Compared to some of my friends, I'm having a whale of a time.

At least Easter's coming soon. I need a break. We all do.

Almost every single guy I've met is either freaking weird or is a freaking jerk. Why can't I just meet a NORMAL guy for a refreshing change? Or maybe it's just me. Just damn irritated with all of them. You just can't understand what the hell is going through that puny brain of theirs. People ask how come all my friends are girls. There you have it. I need a gay guy for a friend. I heard they make great friends. Maybe I should turn gay as well.
